This is my one remaining upload for the HYCCT challenges - #35! But it's from the very first day of challenges...hmmm... The challenge was to use Paper Tole technique, something I'd never tried before. I stamped the poppy image three times, colored them all the same, and then used the second and third images to cut out individual petals, shape them, and glue them to the base image.
I changed the color scheme and used a different flower, and since it's monochromatic I used just one horizontal stripe and added a simple sentiment instead. The flower center is a tiny piece of some fuzzy chenille wire that I found at Michael's.

This is gorgeous! I really like that purple against the white. Your flower is beautiful with its fuzzy centre. (great idea!) Your card design is lovely and into my favourites it goes for future consideration. :-)

Pretty! Ha, I saved this challenge for last also. I was dreading it to some degree, if I didn't have time for one, let it be this one, lol. And yet we got 'er done! Very pretty card, love the flower & purples!
